A stunning Antique Suffragette ring claw set with an impressive deep violet Amethyst (approx. 0.80ct) with two green Peridots (approx. 0.50ct each) and four twinkling Diamonds nestled in between.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The piece is modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold with fancy engraved shoulders. It has been beautifully preserved from the Edwardian era and complete with London hallmarks which date the ring to 1905.
