This adorable Georgian ring is set in 18ct Yellow Gold, Circa 1800.
The ring is set with a Almandine Garnet in the centre which is surrounded by a halo of creamy Pearls with a deep, green Emerald on each shoulder.
Almandine Garnet’s are known as the stone of truth and are beloved for their violet/red colour that is said to provide protection and strength.
The Emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus, It was thought to preserve love and has long been the symbol of hope.
Pearls have a wonderful lustre with a rich creamy tone, they are lovely lustrous and natural.
Complete with a locket back which has lost its window but this can easily be replaced.
Set in a 18ct Yellow Gold Georgian gallery.
