A striking antique Victorian cluster ring from the late 19th Century adorned with a trilogy of natural cabochon opals across the face ranging from 0.20 – 0.40ct (approx. 0.80ct total) and eight twinkling old mine cut diamonds wrapping around the centre stone (approx. 0.24ct total).
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of greens, pinks and blues that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
The piece is in excellent condition and exhibits a mesmerising collection of gems set securely in an 18ct gold gallery with faded hallmarks inside the band.
